So far so good! Actually completed my January contribution to Tim Holtz 12 Tags of 2015! If you want to join in, you can find Tim's tutorial and the awesome tags from previous years here.
One of my New Years resolutions was to develop a deeper faith in God. One of the ways I am planning to do that is by keeping a "faith art journal" that will contain an artistic expression of my weekly Bible Word study. For my journal page this week, I utilized the techniques Tim shared for the January tag to create my journal background.
I collaged my tissue paper on to the journal pages using
Claudine Hellmuth slow-dry medium.

I added paint to the dried pages using Wild Honey and
Frayed Burlap Distress Paints.

My "alpha parts" seemed a little big for what I wanted to do on my journal page, so I found an acceptable substitute size along with some of my own handwriting.
I added some inspirational wording using the
techniques Tim shared on his blog.

My pages are ready for journaling...this week's word is POWER!
P.S. I promise to work on improving my photos (lol)!
